Ellen Pompeo was born in 1969. Ellen had a life very difficult , he lost her mom at 4 years old and years later his father. Her and brothers decided to move to New York, Ellen decided to left the studies and wanted to go to Miami and then she turn into a waitress, where she started to like the actuation.
He has participated in diverse films as "Coming Soon" (2000), "Mambo Cafe" (2000), "Moonlight Mile" (2002), "Catch Me If You Can" (2002), "Daredevil" (2003), "Old school" (2003), "Strike Master" (2004).
And shows like "Friends," "Law & Order" and "Grey's Anatomy".
Grey's Anatomy has been the most successful series in which she participated, because she's the main actress and thanks that she has got many followers and fans.
In 2013 she won a People's Choice Award for her performance in Grey's Anatomy.
She participated in the successful music video of Taylor Swift "Bad Blood", where represents one of the friends of the singer by the name of "Moon."
On November 9, 2007, she married Chris Ivery, in New York. On September 15 she had her first daughter named Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery. In October 2014 she had her second daughter named Sienna May Pompeo Ivery, but Sienna isn't her biological daughter because she was born of a surrogate.
