Nicky Jam


Nicky Rivera Caminero, most known like Nicky Jam, was born on the March 17th in 1981, on Boston. His father is from Puerto Rico and his mother is Dominican. When he had 10 years old he moved on to Castaño, Puerto Rico. His family was really poor so he had to work with out legal consent in a supermarket. In his free time he sing rap out side of he supermarket. One day a record label propose him to sign a disc, his father accept and on the age of 11 recorded his first disc "distinto a los demas", this doesn't had a lot of success but took attention of lots of street disc producers.

He met Daddy Yankee and collaborate with him in one of his concerts, they become in really good friends. In 2001 publish his album "haciendo escante" and become very popular. Then he took a rest until 2010 when moved on to Medellin, Colombia and start to publish his great hits like "la prepago", "piensas en mi", "curiosidad", "juegos prohibidos", "el party  me llama" and "tu primera vez". On 2013 he took out his 7th album named "Nicky Jam punto 7".

Now a day, his popularity is still going up making hits with artist most and most famous like Farruko or Shaggy who they are important performens of reggaeton. Lately he have been on the first places of many popular music lists thanks to the simple that he realize with the famous singer Enrique Iglesias "El perdón". On the internet he has the attribute from the achieve to be able to "revive the reggaeton". His concerts take up events more important each time, like present on the Latin American Billboard Premier or the recent Urban King with his old friend Daddy Yankee.
